My Passions

The Relay For Life

I walk in memory of my sisters, Lil and Weesie. The pain of their passing is often unrelenting, but I know that for every mile that I walk, the funds that others so graciously give will fund research to find a cure. I also walk for all of the survivors and for the caregivers of those that are fighting this dreadful disease.

Hi Rose, it's Jessica alll the way from California. I didn't know you were so committed to Relay for Life. That's really excellent that you would do it in honor of your sisters. Our church out here, Catalyst, does Relay for Life every year. Bryan and I didn't know about it until it was too late to join a team, but we went and hung out and supported everyone. Where did they do it around Chicago?

Love you!
Jessica

Hey Jessica, Thanks so much for taking a look see at my Blog-ee. I participated in Relay for life in my Hoffman Estates (HE)community. It was held at Hoffman Estates High School this year. Last year it was at the HE Park District. The relays are all over the place in this area (Arlington Park Race Track, Buffalo Grove High School, Wheeling High School, etc.) I was so touched thaty Deb, Chris, and Roger Ashman came at 10:00 pm and walked with me until midnight. Hugs and kisses.
